Just showing the basic features of this popular drum machine. I have the individual outs running into an Alesis MultiMix 8 to add some stereo panorama and some reverb to some instruments. Next, I test the DIN sync input by controlling the 808's tempo and Start/Stop with a TR-606. Next, I test the pedal inputs for Start/Stop and manual Fill-In (the Tap/Fill-In button does not work on this machine). Then, I demostrate basic tweaking of individual drum sounds. Lastly, I hook the 3 trigger outs (Accent, Clap and Cowbell) to a Tama Techstar TS-305 analog drum synth brain's kick, snare and rim shot.
Hey Zibby!
What the equipment was made in the end of video that gave differents sounds for the drums? It was a kind of effect equalizer?

@sampaiorocs1 That is a Tama Techstar TS-305 drum synthesizer. It is designed to be played via drum trigger pads, but in this TR-808 video, I'm triggering the TS-305's kick, snare & rim shot with the TR-808's 3 trigger outs. Check out my TS-305 video by copying szKDNJ7eYC0 and pasting that into YouTube's search bar.

@itsBayFreshALLday Ha! I wish I had a pawn shop. I bought my 1st 808 (that I still have & fitted with Kenton MIDI) at a pawn shop in 1989. I've been playing and collecting synths & stuff for over 20 years. Thanks to the internet & eBay, I've been able to get some really cool stuff. Be sure to subscribe for future videos, lots of coolness on its way!
