I think the title is a bit deceiving. I don't think they intended to teach you how to build a coffee table from scratch but to show you how easy it is to put a custom, high quality piece of furniture together with minimal effort. As far as comparing this to IKEA, that's a laugh. The garbage that IKEA sells does not compare. Perhaps the title should read "High quality coffee table using Osborne kits".
