Together: a video about Australasian unity

The video roughly follows a chonolotical timeline of past, present, and future.

Maps:
1. Australia and New Zealand
2. Antarctica: not very clear I'm afaid, but note that it shows the various territorial clams by many nations, which I'd rather have become spheres of influence by these nations.

Past flags:
3. Eureka Flag
4. Australasian Olympic Flag: Australia and New Zealand had a joint team at the frist few Olympic summer games. For me, it represents our two countries being joined before, and almost becoming one nation in 1901.

Present Flags:

6. Current Flag of New Zealand
7. Aboriginal Flag
8. Maori Flag

Future Flags:
9. Australia: of all the proposals for a new flag for Australia, this is the one I like the most.
10. New Zealand: of all the proposals for a new flag for New Zealand, this is the one I like the most.

Antarctica Flag proposals
11. not my favorite of the two, but it's like a proper map of Antarctica, and I love the colors.
12. my favorite of the two, I have seen it in orange and red, and prefer the latter color.

Future Flag of the Australasian union
13. South Afica Flag: why is this here? because sadly I havent devepoled a union flag yet, but I'm basing it of the design and colors of the South Afica flag, as it combines all of the colors of the peoples of our union (Aboriginal, Maori, etc.) and the design is still very simple instead of compecated. I will inculde both the Australian and New Zealander Southern Crosses interlocked togerther on the right side of the flag.

14. New flag of Victoria: while I believe that the current states of Australia will be abolised in the new union, I inculded this design of my home state's flag as the last falg because I love it.

We, as the inheritors of the toilings of our forefathers, do not need any new flags to muddy up the meaning of our proud commonwealth, We do not need a new flag, for we already have one, and a good one at that.

@AustralianPyro change happens, and its all about history too, after all, before the current flag, Australia had like 4 other flags before we adopted that one.

Canada has changed, it could again if it wanted. The US has technically changed in 1959 and 1910ish, and wants to add again.

Change is history in progress.

Yes. Good idea. The new flag has to be simple and easily recognised. The best colours are red and white. Think of the Japanese flag. Easy to draw and instantly known. The Swiss flag is a good one also. Everyone knows it. The old USSR flag was known also. All these flags are red and white. Who can draw the present day Australian flag? Too complicated. Too many colours.
