Sapori Trattoria has been offering impeccable Italian cuisine to the Lincoln Park area for almost 10 years. Executive Chef and owner Anthony Barbanente is a Chicago native, but spent enough time on his grandfather's farm in Southern Italy to know exactly how to bring classic Italian cuisine back to Chicagoland. Chef Anthony's hospitality and careful attention to detail can not be surpassed.

One of Sapori's most renowned dishes is the Vitello Paesana, meaning veal of the town. Chef Anthony begins with the most tender veal scallopini imaginable. Next he adds artichokes marinated in fine Italian extra-virgin olive oil and bright cherry tomatoes. After deglazing the pan with a refreshing pinot grigio, Chef Anthony tops it off with basil and thyme to drive home that fresh taste which Sapori is built on.

Sapori offers dinner nightly providing indoor and sidewalk seating, and has ideal spaces to hold private dinning events of all sizes. Chef Anthony has recently implemented "Friend and Family Mondays" offering an eight course meal which he prepares, and "Tuesdays in Tuscany" where guests can enjoy Italian Tapas set to a live jazz band.
