Islam means submission not peace, however I will go both translations for your benefit. Allah and the Prophet broke the world into two classes. The Dar al Islam (house of submission/peace) and the Dar al harb (house of war (non-Muslims) and is to wage war against the Dar al Harb until it comes under submission.

please understand I am not trying attack im trying to make you understand Islam and the terrorism you see on the tv aren't related in anyway . Just like christian gang members they're christian but what they do has nothing to do with the example of 'Isa bin maryam' translation Jesus son of Mary. @liduq Even if they read the translation it is changed from Arabic to English by people who study the Arabic language then it must be approved by at least 18 sheikhs which are the scholars of Islam just like you have priests. And it doesn't lose anything because it has the Arabic right near it to clarify the translation. what of the bible it has been changed so you can read it but the original was in Hebrew and im pretty sure you don't speak it.so your book has nothing to back up what it says

@yusefshahid : Well, it's not against muslims, it's against islam. Most Muslims dont even know what they read in Arabic, but still read..., or you read a translation which does not respect the Arabic version. Moreover, none of the translation of the Quran respect the Arabic version. The translators are forced to invent different ways to rewrite the verses otherwise Islam will completely lose its credibility. That's call lies...

@liduq This is were people mistake terrorism for Islam ''We are peacefull people and we want to kill every one who are not like us.' That isn't Islam that something a group of people invented over were they were in the world just like the KKK, the KKK wanted to wipe out every African for the reason they were black.
