What was the large truck on tank tracks used for?

It was used to dig/cut dugouts for the soldiers. For this, the machinery with the mill on the back could be lowered. Landing runways on grassland could also be destroyed, making it impossible for enemy aircraft to land.

Das ist nicht nur eine Panzershow, sondern auch ein großes Schleppertreffen..bin jedes Jahr mit meinem Schlepper dabei !

Es ist ein Dampf und Schleppertreffen und die Panzer nur ein Rahmenprogramm. Werde dies Jahr auch wieder als Gast raufkommen. Freu mich schon auf Eure Schlepper.
