Kigeki - Over Night

I'm almost too tired to write anything, but I will anyways. So happy birthday, Roses (or LoliBunny...OMG, cute. :3)! It's currently about 5:16 AM as I'm writing this...cuz I was determined to get it up by your b-day (since I missed your last one by like a month T_T). Yah. So be happy, kay? Even if you think the video itself sucks. XP

Anyways, this is probably one of the hardest videos I've ever edited...sheerly because I started with a 5 minute-30-something-second-song and had 10 minutes of anime to work with. Yeah. You read that correctly. This entire anime is roughly just under 10 minutes long. T_T So, I obviously had to do a little editing to the song before I had to start recycling clips at random. T.T I got about a minute off. Still pretty difficult.

Also, you might notice it's not very heavily edited, for two main reasons. One, lack of usable scenes (remember...TEN MINUTES LONG), and two: the anime itself is just so beautiful, I thought it'd take some of the artistic values out if I added too much flashiness / blurs. I'd rather be watching great animation sequences than just a bunch of random clips smashed together (Not that that's a bad thing, lol. It just doesn't work for a show like this)

Amazing work, dude! Great editing, and you're right. This show DOES look quite artsy, and you let it "breathe."I'm sure Lina will love it! :)

I feel that the song sort of helps to emphasize the essence of the short. To me, films have a certain frequency, amplitude, and wavelength as well as a flow to them, like songs do. However, I am not referring to sound waves, but waves of emotion. The emotional waves in the song and the film overlap well and they result in an amplification of said waves to enhance the feeling one experiences from seeing the film.
