WaMu, bought my mortgate a few years ago and then re-sold it to Wells. Never could figure out why. I was never late and never missed a payment. The customer service was poor and you never spoke to the same branch twice. Seemed like a very badly managed bank if you ask me. Doesn't surprise me that they tanked. I own stock in JP and I think its a big mistake that they are taking on WaMu's debt.

I have worked at WaMu for the past 3 years...its sad that you never know whats going to happen...especially when you work in the banking industry. I will miss WaMu greatly, and refuse to work at Chase.

I am a Washington mutual Bank customer and i felt very disapointed and sad, when i heard in the afternoon news that JP Morgan Chase tooked over Washington Mutual. I LOVE YOU WASHINGTON MUTUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
