This applies to both within and outside the outer Ring road (which, like you said, is the 495 beltway here in DC). I have personally seen up & close the agony of the residents residing in these premium (according to indian standards) residences by paying a huge buck, and still be deprived of a metalled street outside their houses......and sadly, the amenities continue to deteriorate with time.
My friend....Tyson's is very different from what you just saw......its a wholly inclusive growth higher end commercial center , not like the sharply divided upscale malls and ground biting shacks of India....We need a li'l more sustainable development around Bangalore much like there's a Vienna or Faifax around Tyson's. These places in BLR don't have basic amenities like a motorable road, water supply, trash disposal or utilities distribution outside some of the most expensive properties
Bangalore needs to be improved in may ways though....even though its an IT hub few initiative needs to be taken for the development in various sectors
yes thats true, 7 years before its totally forest, farmers are cultivating the crops but now you cant see anything like that, still india have to fight with poverty and other problems as well. everything will be solved slowly. not only bangalore all most all the cities are like this growing rapidly. I love my Bangalore .

Interesting video. The contrast between rich and poor, traditional and modern is particularly sharp in India.
