Dont you think Bush would be in jail if they passed HR 1207 8 years ago. Anything that sheds light on the details would be good. Dont forget we still have billions unaccounted for in Iraq and republicans couldnt bring themselves to disclose war costs in the budget. Any bill that prevents that stuff is good just beware of the details and who is suddenly rushing to regulate and why.

When the republicans screwed up on Katrina aid, they said "Lets not play the blame game" Now the mess they left behind they say that both parties are to blame. Why is it that when everything goes bad they want to spread the blame around but when it goes well they want to take credit for all of it. Sounds like rep. economic policies to spread the risk to the taxpayers while retard executives get rewarded with salaries and bonuses. The parties are NOT equally ruining this country.

And where were these people when Bush turned a surplus into a deficit that all our kids will be paying off? Where were they when Bush refused to account for the Iraq war in our budget? Im sure they also protested when taxes for the few were cut but now taxes for the few will go up while the majority of americans will get a tax cut. Now they protest?????

If the government would not be bailing out these corporations that did stupid deals, then they would go under and new smarter companies would pop up. That is the essense of Capitalism.

Good job. Ron Paul submitted legislation over a year ago? to repeal the Federal Reserve Act. The cabal has used that Act to steal from the govt and our Congreessman and women refuse to even vote on Ron Paul's bill. This is the root of the problem, some would say.
