This tribute show was good, but not GREAT. There were WAAAY too many new characters (Madison, Marissa, Brot!) and not enough focus on the TRULY great storylines from the 70s like Ruth's protest against the Vietnam war. I guess that's because it was written by Charles Pratt---AMC's WORST head writer EVER!!!!!!!

James Mitchell was 89....and probably in poor health during the taping. He passed away not too long after this. RIP, James Mitchell.

Brooke didn't die. She moved to China to be near her daughter Laura. She's actually returning to the show for a few months starting on the 23rd.
