The web wars have begun! This morning, the Liberal and Conservative parties launched new web sites aimed at each other. And an overzealous web developer leaves the Prime Minister to apologize.

Ormiston Online: We are your guide to the election on the web. From blogs to online videos to tweets, watch how this election evolves. We'll show you what's making news on the internet. Even better, take part. Send us your videos — why not campaign ads? How about photos from the campaign trail? It's a brave new world of politics on the web.

  • lol canadian politics.

  • I actually thought the puffin animation, an allusion to talk about puffins (and similar) from some liberals being full of crap, was really quite humorous, as intended. The resulting flap from liberals only shows they can dish the nonsense out but can't take it when directed at them.

  • Damn, dklasse, you make a lot of assumptions.

Especially for someone with such minimal experience of the world.

Generally speaking it's people who still snigger

at scatalogical jokes that need to grow up.

That stage ought to pass by, say, ten years of age.

You're running a few years behind...

  • Grow up, if you don't like the government we have, you should have voted.

  • Why thank you, dklasse.

And 'pooping puffins' sounds like what,

    philosophical profundity?

  • ...sounds like the rantings of a high hippie

  • if funny the controversy against liberals but not the other way around.

  • Pooping puffins.

That's the sort of third-grade humour that would appeal

to a party with nothing to say.

    The Harper government

    scorns the Constitution,

    scorns the Supreme Court,

    Scorns Parliament,

scorns the will of the People,

    and scorns the facts.

    Just like all tyrannical power-pushers.

  • inappropriate? I guess, but funny. I would of had a huge bald eagle dropping a huge load on him instead of a little bird. ;-)

  • To every thing, spin spin spin ...
