The day started innocently enough watching Metrolink passenger trains passing over the LA River Basin. Then we spotted a truly strange consist: A BNSF 7580 ES44DC, Metrolink 874, and UP 7717 ES44AC pulling slowly into the entrance of the Taylor/Metrolink yard. It might be a "Operation Lifesaver" special - but cannot be sure. But a fun catch nevertheless.

  • Not sure - people seem to think it was a Livesaver Special. All local RR represented somehow.
