Geometry Wars Galaxies- Level: Varduo- Rank # 1 (26 mil)

Before you read or watch anything, know this: Geometry Wars Evolved 2 was just announced for Xbox Live Arcade and is releasing August 6th! It's gonna be awesome! More info/videos at www.bizarrecreations.com !

Anyway, this is yet another challenging level in Galaxies. In this one you start off with three lives and three bombs but it gets hectic fast! Just got #1 in the world on this level but I think I can still improve upon it, I died carelessly towards the end. Anyway, enjoy and leave feedback as always :)

is this easier than on xbox? cause on xbox i find is REALLY hard, on this it looks like you have a little buddy to help you shoot

Not easier at all. The little drone, even when fully leveled is OK but it balances out since your gun isn't as wide/rapidfire as evolved. Also, as skrewed mentioned, the thumbsticks are too close together/too small on the classic controller which make it feel a little different than the 360 pad.

On the other hand, some levels in Galaxies are easy and possible to keep going as long as I want but these get boring because a) they take so long and b) they don't require as much skill. That is why I am uploading videos of the most challenging levels in the game, not the tedious easy ones.

One more thing that makes it harder. Enemies keep spawning constantly most of the time. In Evolved there was usually a pause until you clear all the enemies, not the case here :)

To be honest I think Geometry Wars Galaxy blows the other two out of the water. There's so many levels to play, new enemies, helper ships that upgrade the more you use them and it has the original retro evolved. The only draw back is the god awful classic controller.
