Ive recently aquired an 81 king cab. its really growing on me. the "king"cab is really just convienant to have stuff in the cab and away from elements-and 'wandering' away from the backbed. Purrs going down the freeway and tedious in stop-in-go city driving.(5spd.) gonna do some modernizing & can'twait!

I guess people were smaller back then, ha! Doesn't look like much room back there for that dog! Love the cheesy dealer, looks like the stereotypical used car swindler!

Extended cab sounds great. I recently rode "super-bitch" in an 80's S10. Read, I was straddling the hump, adjacent two other men, legs splayed, while the driver yanked the 4-speed shifter that rose up phallicly from between my legs. It's a good thing we're all quite comfortable about such matters. I can imagine the drama between a crew full of closet-cases!

Has anyone ever actually rode in the back of one these? It wasnt so bad when I was a kid, but you sit facing the other passanger...its odd.
