  • can anyone here give me advice on how i can fix my loose clutch lever? i just put in a new clutch pack, but now the clutch lever is too tightttt infact way too tight to the point where when i pull it in it gets stuck to the left handle bar and i actually have to use my finger tips to push it outtt. i read some comments on couple of forums and loosened the screw that sits on the clutch lever, but that made it way too loosse. i checke the cable, nothing wrong there. thanksss.

  • @GenerationTibet2009 did you re adjust the SCREW,ADJUST NUT by the lever? it take a little of play here and there, i got the same issue when i change my cable clutch.

  • Hai, unit. thanks again. i finally removed the whole clutch plates and was able to put in the new clutch plates that is Barnett Kevlar Plates. However, whenever I put turn the bike on and then squeeze in the clutch lever to put it into first gear the bike just shuts off. Any more tips for a novice rider? I will really appreciate any advice and thank you so much on your last advice. Thumbs up!

  • @GenerationTibet2009 that happens to me, set the clutch to the proper tension. also that happens to me at cold weather and when i dont use the bike for weeks. I dont know why, but after a while it will be normal.

    good luck.

PS: i powder coated the engine cover to flat black.. i will post a video later on when finish with everything.

  • thanks for the instructional video. but i can't seem to remove the rod out of the clutch housing box and then the clutch housing cover won't come off easy on my bike. do you have any advice on how to remove those after you have removed the screws? thank you

  • @GenerationTibet2009 i know what are you talking about. Did you take the nut (part # 92210) out?

  • @DRZME400 yes i am...ahhh darn. it give it away..LOL

  • BTW did you repalce your gasket? I seen the LockTite but you said you didn't use it.

  • Cool video I got to do mine soon. Question: does anyone know where to get the isometric exploded views of the clutch assembly? Unit666industires Are you from Columbia? Just asking becaue your accent sounds like my buddy from Columbia. My clutch is completely out of adjustment at both ends and it delays engagment off the start. Iv'e been told my basket may be the culprate since my clutch isn't slipping. I was told to remove the basket and bring it into the shop for inspection.

  • eyyyyyy dudeeee tanksss mannn i mechanic but i never try to change a bike clutchh tanksssmannnnn reallyy tankss!!!!!!!!
