XBOX Live / Zune: Gold Family Plan and Adult / Child Account Status

I am part of a Gold Family plan and since I joined it I have had trouble watching certain videos, trailers, games and even downloading content.

After many hours of research I've able to confirm the "common" problems people experience after joining a Gold Family plan.

Update: Even if you're content is set to [Standard] you will also miss out on promotions (such as the Windows Phone) for your avatar due to child status.

i have on of these how do i find out who the leader of the family thing is so i can purchase microsoft points

@Teflohn The leader of the Gold membership usually has Family Center available on their dashboard. Other than that nothing comes to mind as to how a child could see who their account holder's leader is.

omg u saved me some money, their are no kids in my house. only me and my sister, ages 19, 22,24. we all wanted to play online as adults. but this sounds like it was made for a younger set family in mind.
