@eggberta Rob Gibson was referring to corporate buyouts of land who would then drastically alter the landscape. The castle in question is privately owned and is still owned by the estate. People who purchase the plots of land cannot alter their piece in any way, and all funds earned go towards the upkeep of the castle and grounds. It's historical preservation, not corporate land-grabbing.

I think people don't it. You're helping preserve historical landscape and getting a legal title doing so. Other companies just give you a receipt or a card. Here you become a Laird or a Lady.

@vat19com Yeah some one might dye their square foot of grass black, or put a huge set of car batteries under the grass then hook them up to a spot light. It'd be kind of like those guys on Minecraft servers who build dick and ball shaped structures on their land plot in the middle of a normal looking area filled with normal houses.
