Give your friends and family the gift of Scottish Lordship. With the Become a Laird or Lady Gift Box, the lucky recipient will gain ownership of one square foot of land in Scotland.

Obviously, that's a little small to build their dream home. However, with land ownership comes the right to call yourself by the Scottish title of Laird (British equivalent of Lord) or Lady. The recipient also receives access to the breathtaking grounds of Dunans Castle in Argyll. This 16-acre tract is home to the Thomas Telford-designed Dunans Bridge, Britain's tallest tree (a 209-foot-tall Douglas Fir), and the centuries-old Dunans Castle.

In addition to a free tour for two of the castle, your purchase of the Become a Laird or Lady Gift Set also helps fund its restoration and preservation.

Hi! Well I love your videos and once I get a credit card I shall spend it on your site at once! if you bought a piece of land can you not go visit it or is that part of the trip for two? Can you at least put a sign on there to claim it? Will it tell you where your piece of land is located?

  • @EmoTeddyIsHere You can visit your specific plot of land, however you cannot alter it in any way.

  • This is a scam. To quote Rob Gibson Member of the Scottish Parliament in the Daily Reecord – “This exploitation of Scotland should be outlawed.”Selling square-feet souvenir plots of Scotland purely for financial gain is utterly unacceptable. I find this activity attracts spivs and speculators and people should avoid it with a bargepole.” “There should be some means to stop this. This is not the first time somebody has tried to make a fast buck out of selling a little piece of Scotland.”

  • @eggberta Rob Gibson was referring to corporate buyouts of land who would then drastically alter the landscape. The castle in question is privately owned and is still owned by the estate. People who purchase the plots of land cannot alter their piece in any way, and all funds earned go towards the upkeep of the castle and grounds. It's historical preservation, not corporate land-grabbing.

  • So, we own the land, but... we can't do anything with it, right?

  • @sasukerukia That is right.

  • I'm going to buy this, become a lady, go to England and date Prince Harry.

  • I just want this so I can have the title of "Lady."

  • I think people don't it. You're helping preserve historical landscape and getting a legal title doing so. Other companies just give you a receipt or a card. Here you become a Laird or a Lady.

@PlagueIndustry I also want this so I can sign documents as Laird and my name ^_^

  • mhhhh.....no

    hahaha

  • @vat19com Yeah some one might dye their square foot of grass black, or put a huge set of car batteries under the grass then hook them up to a spot light. It'd be kind of like those guys on Minecraft servers who build dick and ball shaped structures on their land plot in the middle of a normal looking area filled with normal houses.

  • I kind of want to buy this for myself just so I can sign legal documents as "Laird" and then my name.

  • @vat19com that sucks, it mean you don't even own the land

  • @SeeDixonSpain because i mean, signs and fences everywhere on the land might be not such a good idea, but imagine how nice it would look with small engraved stones everywhere!

  • @SeeDixonSpain ok thanks :)

  • Great video VAT19. Very happy to see Dunans so well represented, thank you! For everyone's information the restoration works are progressing very well thanks to the Laird and Ladies who buy these packages, and we're always delighted to see everyone who makes it over and comes on the tour. We show you your square foot, the castle, the bridge, everything!
