A short documentary portrait of Josh Liddy, founder of SWAYLOVE.org, a pit bull advocacy group. He photographs pit bulls in animal shelters and works online spreading the photos to help get the animals adopted. But he is up against intense odds: as many as 90% of the animals in the shelters are put down.

  • I so wanted to cry ! . I saved my pitbull <3 found her aswell.

thank you for helping ! .

  • Rock on man. The fight has just begun.

  • Seriously, god bless you and everything you are doing for this breed. Your video and passion really choked me up. I wish I had a million dollars because I would love to rescue every animal and have the animal shelters closed down. It's so heartbreaking to see so many unwanted dogs, it's truly sad. Thank you!!!

  • Josh Liddy, you are a breath of FRESH AIR to me!! Nice work :oD

  • You are an inspiration to us all. As a loving companion to a red nose joy I lost to cancer in march and a recent adopter of an abused pitbull I commend you ; lend you strength and love for the battle we all have ahead of us to get our breed back into the positive limelight they deserve. Kudos to you for making something so very positive out of a negative situation. Best of luck!

  • You are doing an amazing job. I have rescue pit bulls I am working with 6 right now and Its my intention to save them from high kill shelters in the US. I am in canada. If you connect with me maybe you can give me a hand to get in touch with some needy pit bulls. I live in canada. we dont have near the problems with kill shelter as the US or pit bulls. So I want to help. to.

  • Thank you for giving these dogs a voice and letting them be heard. You truly are making a difference.

  • Josh, you're an inspiration. Thank you.

  • AH-MAZING. thanks to dogpark media and josh liddy!!

  • Nice story of a good man doing good work. Most people who love pit bulls fell in love with one dog that just happened to be a pit bull and had an awaking moment. They found out that there are a lot of good dogs don't deserve what they get, from bad owners, and from society.

  • What a great video! And what amazing photographs! I am sure that many many MANY more dogs will be saved because of your hard efforts, Josh. Thank you for that; thank you!!

  • Spot on Josh , great work mate ! I would be gratefull to hear from you ,

    cheers , Terry.

  • A wonderful video and story, sharing everywhere, keep up the great work, your dedication to pitbull rescue is inspiring and they need all the help they can get, thank you from UK xx
