Slideshow that my brother Mark, aka "Professor Woodhead", put together to honor our Dad for his 90th birthday in Dec 2010.
Dad graduated from VMI in 1942, fought in World War II as a scout platoon leader in the 95th Inf Div, and has had many other exploits. Among his many claims to fame (at least in our hearts) - he is internationally recognized for his skill at being able to nap in any place at any time, and has been seen doing so in some of the finest museums, cathedrals and sites in the world; he is rarely seen without a big smile on his face (which is very infectious!); he loves to travel (or, at least carry Tish's bags while she travels...); he still plays a pretty good game of golf and can give you hole-for-hole accounts of his Country Club of VA Member Guest wins in 1966 and 1976 with Jordan Ball; and he still remembers the VMI Spirit (fight song) better than I do most of the time. Love ya, Dad!!
