Hi, I also saw the Google IO Session Overview: Android + App Engine. I'm struggling with it. I have done exactly everything they did in the video and I can't make it work. Im getting a an error when the app starts. I tasks me: "Attention. To receive notifications from this app, you must first create an account." I have added and then it shows me a message: "SETUP COULD NOT FINISH: Unable to open conenctio to server". Could you please help me with this issue? Have you got the same?

i did not run into that exact same issue, but i do remember that the gwt plugin caused issues similar to what you are seeing. you should close the browser tab each unsuccessful attempt. in your eclipse session, paste the url you get when compiling into the browser window. you should be able to login, and send a test message from the browser window and see successful send in the browser window. if you keep hitting the error, don't feel bad, its a really hard one, try a simple one first man
