'Worlds Local Bank'... In Malta they know nothing about my HSBC UK account. HSBC in Malta and the UK is equal to HSBC and Natwest in the UK. Two completely different banks and companies. Only difference is they share the same logo and name

i do work for HSBC im an advisor... based in italy....
and what i said is true.. only thing your right about is British staff is a lot, and it doesn't have to be apart of the chinese stock exhange.... but the main man is a HK guy..

@xMandalorex You obviously haven't done your research at all, and I doubt you work for HSBC very much so, yes I'm aware it's called Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. But, incase you didn't know, Hong Kong was under British control untill the 1990. It was founded by Thomas Sutherland in Hong Kong, it isn't even a member of the Chinese Stock Exchange and all of it's uppermost staff are British. Also, it's global headquarters are in london, go google it if you dont believe me.

re-search your info man the main HQ is in Hong Kong, and they opened branches all around the world. including UK...
and before you come back at me (i work for HSBC) and i re-searched a lot before i worked here.
and it wasn't founded by British people... it was opened by British people in UK.. by the approval of the HK HSBC employers
