This is Part 2 of a new series on the human nervous system. The Part 2 video will introduce you to common classes of neurons and use the example of a reflex arc; in Part 3 we will talk more in depth about axonal transport.

See my channel for more tutorials on physiology and related subjects.

  • Hi Tom. Could you please post a video on boutons and the process of excitation or inhibition. Eg: The process of neurons controlling the muscles

  • @amiablepsyche1 Sure thing! I intend to complete this series soon and include nerve/muscle interactions.

  • Excellent lesson. Really cleared things up.

  • @emilynorton1 Thanks, glad it helped :)

  • Tom - Great videos. I'm an A&P instructor. What program are you using to put together your drawing/writing?

  • @LadyCECU Thanks for your message! I've used a drawing program called SmoothDraw and to record the computer screen and my voice I use another program called Camtasia (but there are many different programs you could use). Hope this helps :)
