www.lospelagatos.com The main event pits undefeated sensation and junior featherweight titleholder Juan Manuel Lopez (24-0, 22 KOs) of Caguas, Puerto Rico against battle-tested veteran and former two-division champ Gerry Penalosa (54-6-2, 36 KOs) of Manila, Philippines in a scheduled 12-round title match. After a stunning first-round knockout of Daniel Ponce De Leon in his June 2008 HBO debut, local hero Lopez will need his unparalleled speed, power and accuracy to extend a perfect ring record and become the first fighter to knock out his foe. Nicknamed Fearless for unwavering boldness in the ring during a long, high-caliber career, the seasoned Penalosa plans on springing a surprise on his rival.. www.lospelagatos.com

  • @ebanuel2 roach is a little crazy which is good sometimes in boxing to have in your corner.. you can have a nun or a priest in your corner.... he's just suffering form the shots he took during his boxing career

  • @aznracerboi2k5 and? he was a two time world champion in two different weight classes and is going for a third in 154 thats a good career and he made more money than your whole family will see in their lifetime

  • of course we are, such a small island we fit more then 100 times in the US and we have some of the greatest boxers in history Cotto just gave himself a bad life, but he did some good fights while he was still in good condition and he is one of the best tactical fighters out there so dont you go saying hes a bad boxer just cause he lost against 2 great boxers, losses dont say if a boxer is good or not but his fighting history so fuck you puertorricans are to be feared in boxing

  • but look at cotto................you puertoricans are diferent.............are you proud of that? he almost died and was knocked down in almost every fucking round!!

  • jaunma was too good for this guy he got heart but aint on lopez level

  • hell yea MACNIFICO its the men to beat but he still ijure from hes eyes haaa wel I will love to see him fight again but hes healt its firts then any fight !!!!!!

  • everybody knows what a filipino fighter cud do...,im a fan of juanma but i will give credit to gerry eventhough coach fredie stop the fight he hasn't go down and even knockdown eversince as a pro..,juanma is a tough boxer he even diminished ponce de leon in 1st round.,.but filipino boxer is great..,no big deal..,

  • I hope no Mexican fighter ever hires the cockaroach to train him again. I remember in one of the fights between Vasquez and Marquez, Roach wanted to send Israel out with a broken nose. In fact he allowed him to fight a few rounds with a broken nose. Israel had to cancel the fight himself. Roach only takes care of some of his fighters, and he makes me sick. Im glad El Magnifico fired his ass and hired Rudy Perez to make him 1 of the best current boxers and the best Super Bantamweight right now.

  • I like his boxing, but he´s got a very cocky smirk on his face now days. JML i mean. Tough son of a bitch this Gerry guy.
