@rammergramps - you are not wrong! - I was there in the summer - very sad but the cafe is still alive and well (brilliant in fact) - did you see the film 'Pontins Silent Village' ?

i get that they had too close but why wasnt the site secured or at least everything taken out and boarded up? By leaving it all exposed surely pontins knew that it would get trashed and burnt out its sad lookin at the vids on here as i went way back in 95 and im sure that H from steps was working there when i went

I remember those days, i used to go there to use the pool when i was a teenager. I am a Jersey man. Good old days!!!! Great to see your film.

I worked there in 85, it breaks my heart to see it now. I`ve heard it`s being left to be reclaimed by nature.
