The connection between Sarah Palin and the anti-American group, AIP has not been adequately explained or investi-gated. In her character attack, Palin questions Obama's association with William Ayers, a member of the Vietnam-era Weather Underground. Her reference was exaggerated at best if not outright false. No evidence shows they were "pals" or even close when they worked on community boards years ago and Ayers hosted a political event for Obama early in his career

WOW, the Republican party have officially become a bunch of hate and fear-mongering crooks. Whether they every actually represented "values" or not, they sure don't now. All I see here is blind, dangerous nationalism that would rather cheer on a broken country than FIX it, jingoism, lies, stupidity, and exploitation of their bases blind faith. Ayers WAS a terrorist, 40 years ago. He later spent 20 years as a professor at the University of Illinois. He lived in the same neighborhood as Obama, they landed in a few board meetings together, and that is pretty much the extent of their relationship. Obama afterwards did what any politician would do, and denounced Ayer's actions in the Weather Underground.

I don't quite buy the "guilty by association" line. It's not like Obama invited Wright, Ayers, and ACORN for a big policy-writing party.

most of the mccain-palin campain is about talking obama down. every time i hear them speak, they try to get your vote not by fighting fair and not with good, new solutions, but by throwing mud. i am german and many people i know are interested in this election, because it realy will show if you are open for modern values, or just stuck in tradition. if you think, or let others think for you. cya
