North Korea one of the world's great weapons proliferators. Yet the world has not treated it as the greatest threat.

Just 12 km away from the North Korean border, the US army prepares for an attack. Colonel Patton is in charge of the training: "We train in all types of conditions because we have to be ready to fight tonight." The North Korean army has more than 1 million men prepared to fight until the bitter end, with thousands of chemical missiles trained on Seoul and 37,000 Americans on border. However many South Koreans believe it is America that poses the greatest threat to peace for the region. Ha Sang Nam is waiting to be re-united with her brother who has been stranded in the North for 50 years. "I just hope there will be no more wars. We are separated because of the existence of the war." However German doctor Norbert Vollersten backs Bush. "There is a genocide going on in North Korea. There are crimes against humanity and we have to do something." An engaging overall look at the current crisis.

@nixrate Their WMD range is limited. Alaska is about as far as they seem potentially capable of in theory but it's sketchy in practice. The real losers would be South Koreans. America has superior technology and training but that's not sufficient - it's like the SAS assaulting an office building with several hostages at gun-point... Somehow you have to find a way to save the hostages first.

@G1SpaceDoll eh, i severely doubt China or Russia would aid north Korea in a war, sacrifice is too big, north Korea really doesn't do much for China or Russia to warrant them becoming involved. The main threat in a war with NK is the use of wmds resulting in a large portion of america being destroy/ uninhabitable along with millions of casulaties. WMDS are a gun to a fist fight, America could come of second best, this is why it's a worry.

North Korea is spoiled by China, I personality like going to North Korea, China and Russia. I would re-enlist right way!!! US Navy is best Navy in the World, our subs are nuclear can't be pick-up, now we've some stealth ships can't be pick-up and fastest ships in the World.
