@ku42 Most people develop gum disease to some degree and lose one or two teeth by the time they are 50. The key is to support the immunesystem and that can only be done by eating what the body needs, avoid what is bad, and do sports or physical work. A stick of real butter, a teaspoon of codliver oil and plenty dark green sallads to the meat and your on the right way. Medicine cant make the body healthy. Only the right nutrients from real food. Try some "Gerson juices" and you'll see what I mean

@KFMofficial this procedure is a GUM GRAFT. You are having deep cleaning for GUM DISEASE below the gum line. We do this under local anesthesia and premed our patients with an OTC pain med. We usually adjunctively use antibiotics and we do this endoscopically. see perioscopy

How long does this take? Would insurance normally cover this?

@NOLIFEWITHOUTMUSIC1 these procedures take between 60-90 minutes. Dental benefits usually pay a portion of the procedure which ranges from $1500-2000 per segment.
