Rumba Havana Vieja - Grupo Guelmilere

My first week in Cuba Jun 2000, I was taking a Cuban Taxi home from Pangas and I heard this rumba. I told the driver to stop and let me out. I had my camcorder in hand and was eager to film this group called Grupo Guelmilere. They were jamming with the rumba and I started to film. Some one from the group quickly stopped me and said no. After, they agreed to let me have a quinto lesson from the guy soloing. When I went to the location in Havana Vieja the whole group was there in this small house. Later they agreed to play for me and this is what I shot. You can see me come in the picture doing a little dance.
