If the refs don't blow the whistle, it's legal right? Lebron James dribbles the ball and picks it up. Waits. Dribbles the ball again. Luol Deng makes no contact with the ball this whole time yet somehow this is legal. Then of course Lebron's spin move takes 35 crap steps. He still misses the shot.

weird thing is.. Lebron actually did travel.. twice.. Picked up his pivot foot right before he drove.. and he took three steps going up for the lay up. course the refs won't ever call it.

Its legal because lebron can make the arguement that he just lost the ball quickly. Then he can dribble again.
