Hit the rim of the drum and don't double tap it, simple 3/4 beat with the occasional tssss will work.

Hi guys that was certainly a pleasant treat :-)........I've only been playing pan for a year or 2 (drumkit and percussion 30 yrs) I'm running out of sources to find what notes to play on new music such as No Woman No Cry. I'm not good enough to do it by ear just yet. Can you guys help me out at all? I'll play one of your songs on radio ova here in Brisbane, Australia to get the good karma started. cheers

tip to the set player. u ether might wanna tune ur drums differently so that it blends better with the steel drums or u might just need new heads and if thats the case i suggest the remo ambassator batter heads.

really nice steel drum players but you should find a real reggae drum player... maybe only the steel drum would be sufficient...
