Detroit is a great hockey town and the people are pretty nice. But they had a smug sense of confidence throughout the 2008 and 2009 Stanley Cup finals. It was like 'yeah, it's nice the Penguins can get to the finals, but it's a shame they have no chance of winning'. After the Pens had won and Joe Louis Arena cleared out with the exception of a few Pen's fans, I couldn't pass up a chance to salute the dynasty.

You're lucky Detroit fans were outside the building. Someone would've killed you. And I'm not saying this to sound tough, I'm saying it because it's the truth. Especially infront of game-worn jerseys and other things of the sort.
