I saw some of these shows, at the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival in DC prior to the opening of the Native American Museum - Ledward is excellent, his playing is sweet and virtuosic, he's just a happy guy all around, and the hula dancing was impressive, not at all the touristy stuff at the Hawaii airport but powerful and lusty, the dance of warriors - extremely cool!
