Celebrated fiddler Mark O'Connor, virtuoso bassist John Patitucci and the young guitarist Julian Lage are joining forces for the first time as equal members of a new trio that explores styles like Western and gypsy swing. The group joins us during their run at the Blue Note for a live performance.

  • These guys play so amazing. It's one thing to do a fancy lick now and then while sitting in the comfort of your living room. It's another to deliver continuous flowing flawless brilliance while under the lights of someone's camera or on stage in front of a large audience. Pure magic!

  • Hey garrettmillerdrums, friend of my tells me something that is just for You!The easy thing to do is to criticize....if You look in this way like You, You never will understand the music...They have great intercession together, they play so good all this unison.And the speed was so fast for all this things, But You want to write that Patitucci was ridiculous...The master is master even if it's ridiculous.Even if You can play 25% from everything that Patitucci plays, I will give You 100$....
