  • 3fps is simulation speed, i don't see why its so difficult to understand nor do i get why people have to be sarcastic about it. It is relative to cpu performance and that entire tree with leaves being simulated that fast is pretty impressive.

  • @Ccs1989 It's rendered 3 frames per seconds. I'm now rendering an animation of a cube (sic!), each frame takes about 20 seconds to render on my laptop. So to make a 10 second video at 24 fps, it takes 20 x 24 x 10 seconds to render. And this is not a predefined movement of a cube, it's a realistically simulated tree.

  • @majorhavoxg1 then we'll make more beautifull, detailed simulations and run thos on 3FPS ;)

  • Future!

  • @ERTLPFM I can't wait until Cpu's get so powerful they can run 30 or 40 of the simulations at 60FPS in real time.

  • i wonder what improvement is made for this 3fps demo compared to the SpeedTree in 2008...

  • 1:27: Spore

  • sensitive couture for interactive < so cool
