The number one question I've been getting while I've been farting around here these past few months (apologies - life... don't talk to me about life...) is how do I convert a given format video to something Cinelerra likes; with strong implications that CLI is not appreciated. So here it is - this is pretty much the sole way I convert these days and it is unbelievably simple! I've got the urge again - watch out, more videos to come!
Also, I've started another channel for my non-production stuff. It will be the place for funny kid videos, little projects I've done, the occasional what-not from a cell phone and, of course, any final projects I do tutorials on! Visit and subscribe - it'll make me smile! :-)

Also don't forget to bask in the awesomeness of cybridproductions! Duct tape your head so your mind doesn't explode!

And of COURSE I meant "royalty free" instead of "open source" If you haven't checked out the guy all the YouTubers are using, check it out:

Eww, GTK on KDE...
I heard there's a package to make GTK Apps less butt ugly on KDE.

@commodore256 Actually, Cinelerra comes with a couple of other themes and you can get a couple more from the CV site. This one is ugly but most functional for me. They also have one called "Cinecutie" which you can download as a DEB and install. It's normal Cinelerra but with a completely redone theme. I'm trying to like it but I'm so used to the SUV theme...

Yay for WinFF! It's saved more than one of my Cinelerra projects...especially when using multiple camera set ups, cause I still ain't smart enough to buy cameras all in the same format :-)
