@Akindone53 Correct :o) Artis is after all street performer. He doesn't expect all pedestrians to stop and all cars to pull over to listen to him. He just plays the spoons... and the kids loved it by the way :)

I do understand the criticism of the children, and would probably feel the same way if I had never worked with young children. But the truth is, Artis (the Spoonman) got to the height of artistry that he did by allowing his spontaneity and passion to blossom. If he had repressed those things and followed directions to 'sit still and be quiet,' he never would have become the artist that he did. In other words, he did it by not listening to the kinds of messages you are speaking.

@ribbitboing agreed, they're amazed that this man can make music out of what they eat cereal with, if i was 4 and saw this at my school i'd be acting the same way, and even at 4 i was respectful most of the time
