The Krewe of Rex is the oldest and most traditional of the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans. The appearance of the King of Rex is considered to be the climax of Mardi Gras. I love Mardi Gras, but Rex should pull the stick out of its butt!!! The guys on these floats look like they are picking up dog poo when the throw beads to the crowd. Only a bunch of old, fat, rich, white guys could make something as fun as Mardi Gras dull.

I love your videos. I have a 2 and a half year old daughter, and because I ride in Rex, we have to watch the video every night. Mardi Gras is such a special time of year and what Rex gives the city is the greatest show on earth. I grew up watching it and waiting for my turn to ride. All of the krewes and parades are wonderful and thank you for all of your hard work posting these videos.
