life without parole - why?
life without parole - warum?
life without parole - hvorfor?

Item from German TV station N-TV http://www.n-tv.de - May 16, 2009.

Interview with Courtney Schulhoff (currently Lowell correctional institution, Ocala, Fl) in a German news show in May 2009. The item was about the discussion in the USA if life without parole sentences for juveniles should be abolished like in every other country in the world.

Courtney Schulhoff was sentenced to life without parole in 2006. In 2004, she was 16, her then boyfriend (21) murdered her father. She had allegedly initiated it and impelled him, but the accusations were rather based on speculation than on serious evidence. And even assuming some involvement, there had been circumstances and previous events strongly diminishing her guilt. Life without parole is an absurd and perverse excess.

  • Evil bitch got her bf to kill her dad, because he wouldn't let her use his credit cards -- and supplied the bf with the weapon (baseball bat) and a change of clothes to hide evidence.

    Good riddance.

  • if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!

  • @mjw9363 You are so right!!!!!

  • she's beautiful...what a waste

  • @HitfulVids I couldn't agree more. I especially loathe ignorant people who call their vengeance "justice" to justify themselves.

Being "justified" can be summed up as the "right to wrong."

    It is a lie.

  • @StinkyKnobcheese If the priority is building a better society, then shorter sentences are often warranted and the focus should be rehab. If the priority is vengeance, then lock the fuckers up and throw away the key! 10 years is a large chunk of life. The US has extreme sentences in many cases, and having the world's highest imprisonment rate still doesn't make it especially safe. Just politicians acting "tough on crime" in the only way their small minds can devise.

  • LOL this chick is 5'1 100.

  • @mjw9363 please don't be so rude in the internet!

In the USA, they said Courtney is the murderer, who killed her father blablabla.....

In Germany, Courtney is the poor girl in Prison.

    The German version is true

  • @NemesisRev9 hey DUMB ASS...i've seen her story a million times on TV in the USA...go live in fucking Germany...fucking thanking Germans!...Germany!???? p-lease!

  • @StinkyKnobcheese THANK YOUUUUU!!!!! We HATE how lenient Europe is on murder!! Let her be paroled to a Germans house if they feel so bad for her...they always want murderers out but wouldn't let them stay at THEIR house...
