CSU Concealed Carry Debate

On April 7, students and parents gathered at Colorado State University to listen to a debate about concealed carry on campus. The event was hosted by Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, and featured Tom Mauser of Colorado Ceasefire, Dave Kopel of the Independence Institute, and Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden.

CSU recently voted to ban concealed carry, even though there have been no added risks created by permit holders, and crime has decreased dramatically since concealed carry became legalized in 2003.

Great video although I think Tom Mauser was a little outnumbered. It is a good thing to have dissenting opinion its good that these things are argued. Having a CCW is a very serious thing. How many firearms were involved in 9/11? None of the passengers on flight 93 had handguns. No one should carry a weapon out of fear.
