Story - Tsai breaks up with his girl friend, Mei. Mei's confession of her dream reveals the confusion of identity and the turmoil of Tsai's past.

In fact, Tsai is a failed (give up) preoperative female to male transsexual and he has left his family including his son in China 5 years ago to go to Thailand. On his way to Thailand to get the operation to complete his sex physically, Tsai found out that he wanted to keep the male sex (penis) so he gave up the operation and moved to San Francisco, U.S.A. For years, Tsai has been hiding his suffer from his agony between his sexual identity and reality.

One day Tsai finds an attractive lady, Shampoo on his way home. Shampoo, in fact, she is from Hong Kong to look for her family and she is male to female transsexual.

Tsai begins writing a story and soon his story slowly breaks into his reality by the appearance of Shampoo, who represents a female side of transsexual of Tsai. In their vague and discreet relationship Tsai finds a hope that he can maybe reconcile his faith and his identity.
