Teaser-The Buffalo Son is a feature-length American epic which chronicles the adventures of Peter Apple, a teenage boy who awakes in the middle of an Arizona desert road with complete head trauma-induced amnesia regarding his past. Unable to remember any of his history, completely undocumented in databases, lacking a social security number and having no known family, the sweet, naive Peter gains relative national fame for his story and spontaneous poetry -- but is eventually adopted as a prophet and "flawless judge of this World" by the strange beat poets and art fiends in his foster family's neighborhood. Peter slowly morphs into a cocky, careless, rockstar-like hero while becoming a target of jealousy and hatred at his high school, subtly falling for one of his "follower's" daughters, pit-falling into a world of murder and corruption and facing what could either be an onslaught of mystical happenings or a series of peculiar coincidences -- constantly challenging Peter to question the roles he has been assigned.
