  • This is without doubt the best version of the classic song. Simply drenched with the anguish of hopeless love, it is just exquisite. Linda was a remarkable singer.

  • Yes, her remarkability still stands.

  • Yes, I have it blocked so I won't get all the spam emails.

  • I prefer Ben E. Kings version over all the others

  • @FreeYourSoul397 ... Look up Shirley Bassey on YouTube... she wrote this song, and I LOVE HER, She sings it great but in a different tone, and in another time... see it... i just saw it... loved it.

  • @FreeYourSoul397 ... LOL @ FEEL HER DYING INSIDE.... WE KNOW THAT FEELING WELL DON'T WE!!! HMMM I know I do.... hate it though...

  • SHE SINGS THIS SONG BEAUTIFUL.....

  • This is great. A shame she had to die so young.

  • Not a bad version at all. I honestly don't know what pecart66 is talking about. She maintains pitch well through the song with only a few misses (the first "you" second verse,"girl" third verse). Screaming? Whiney? This is how high pitched female pop voices sound when reaching for high notes. I also am not young, and used to performs (not very well), and have an idea what good is. By the way this is a talk and sing song. Good version by a good singer.

  • Love this version of this song

  • Sorry miles-but I am not a young person, and after working in/for over4000 concerts and artists I feel she talks too much-screams and is off the charts, anyone can scream a song, but as each artist is ,each does..I will however seek other recordings by her and revisit her work

    Still offkey and winey

  • LINDA JONES DIED IN 1972 R.I.P.

  • SHE CAN RUN THE FULL SCALE OF MUSIC MY AL TIME FAV FEMALE SINGER SOUL FEELING PASSION WHAT A MAN NEEDS
