Sadly, they both died in 2001. 'Gunner Parkins' from cancer, and his dad from age/greif.

Last of the Summer Wine brings back Burt Kwouk, Russ Abbott, Trevor Bannister (Mr. Lucas) and Frank Thornton (Captain Peacock) from Are you being Served) It also featured Stephen Lewis (On the Buses Inspector Blackey) a while ago. Well it's nice to see them all again and my word, have they aged ..... I certainly hope they will carry on for a while yet. We've already lost so many great comedians / actors.
