The Ratoath All-Ireland Intermediate Sevens final for 2010 was contested by Oldcastle and Westport. The 2 teams overcame a field of 36 teams comprising of County IFC winners from 2009 and top class guest clubs picked nationwide. Westport had the early misfortune of losing their first three games of the day but qualified as a wildcard for the last 16 by means of score difference having gone on a scoring spree versus Cortown of Meath in their last game.
Following this win they never lost another game and just fell over the line versus a very young Oldcastle team in the final.
