Thanks. I also didn't want to sound too much like the other people who have posted their versions of the song. Since this performance (which was in January) I have come up with my own sound for it, which I'm proud of, but my camera is broken so I can't record anything. AGH!

You've actually got a very beautiful voice. The only criticism I can give isn't that you're a male, that your voice was bad, or that you were off pitch, because none of those were problems. The only thing I can offer is that to... Well, BLACK it up. It's pretty, but TOO pretty. You have to really FEEL what Effie was singing at this point. Your runs are beautiful, though. Just try using some growls, and really belt this one. Great voice.

I agree. You were way to safe. Your voice reminds me of Clay a tad. But he puts soul into his songs. This song lacked it. You need to YELL SCREAM AND SHOUT! You need to grunt and really attack those notes. Change your posture. Do something to get the audience into it. Good luck, and voice lessons are a plus

I agree but some SOUL in the song...cause it lacked a lot. It was sung nice and such, but the song isn't this song without soul. So add that and repost. Plus you will feel the difference. At the end of this song, you should feel exhausted vocally and emotionally.
