I'm so sorry that you have to live like that.People can be so cruel... help out your mother, get a part time job, at weekends for example, go work at a caffee or something, it will help you get profit and more confortable financial issues. - I don't know how it is to live like that, but I know how it is to always be worrying, at all time, that maybe you wont have enough money... I've been passed through that. - Best wishes for you and your family, may it have a happy ending!

  • im 10 and i have a whole diffirent story i was in my moms stomach when my mom dated my dad. he left us when i was still in diapers. he smoked and dranked alot. now im typing this comment. my mom has to work two jobs to provivde us food and a one bedroom apartment. i havent seen my dad in 9 years. and i dont want to.

  • this kid is very intelligent and strong but i cant help but notice the guilt on his grandmothers face and how she plays it off as a supportive mother just with a bad marriage and some how she has no idea how his mother got that way. I don't know if the guilt is from either not stepping in and helping his mother with her poor choices or something more direct.. if one thing i know is that it starts at home.. This kid has a bright future just by recognizing the problem. i hope he stays clean.

  • strong kid i hope he makes it

  • aww! hes a sweet boy! Good Luck buddy!

  • you only learn to appreciate someone much like parents when you they are not there for you anymore. Then you notice how much they have done for you.
