The alpaca, Sensation has been shorn now, and the vet students are helping ROb take her off the table.
We shear the alpacas on a table, as it is less stressful for them.
The table actually tilts, as you can see when we are taking sensation off the table.
Once on the ground, the harness is released, and she walks off.
You can see that there is a piece of fleece left on her left hand side, that is because she is destined for the Uk, and we need to keep a sample of her fleece for the screener to test for her micron, to make sure she passes the European screening.
