Aidan and the Thomas and Percy Track

This is my son Aidan learning how to control HO Model trains at the throttle. This little guy is really into trains. This is a 4'x4' Layout that I made with my daughter Rachel. It is made on 2 layers of 2" foam and the mountains are made with 3/4" foam. I'm really suprised how much I fit on to this small area; a complete loop with 2 spurs, a passing siding and even an interchange for one engine. Scenery wise there is a few hills, a mountain with a tunnel and a river with 2 bridges. Structures include a station, a coaling station and small engine facility.
He decided to put some of his geotrax on the layout to add some operational realism, hehe. It seems like he put rocket fuel in Thomas because he is flying around those tracks pretty quick.
