@WodeBolder puttig the plants near the coal power plants would not change the net effect. Also, you would need a heck of a lot of plants. I havent run the math, but consider the fact that the carbon stored by plants is litterally the carbon content of the plant itself. You would need to grow the plants at a rate that would counteract the carbon dioxide emitted by the coal plant, which is several hundred tons (a guess) of carbon dioxide a day. Also, plants are not entirely carbon and oxygen.
people seemed to have forgotten that plants capture carbon.... With little effort they maintain themselves and produce food and materials in return... if large scale greenhouses were used at each coal power plant to capture and use carbon it would probably feed half the world.. it seems as though this issue only exists to justify our governments and politicians...
